Keď som prišiel do Slovana ja, tréner si to spojil,“ spomínal.
Quote:
Czechoslovakia vs Yugoslavia 1957
"Both wingers, especially Gajdoš, fulfilled their roles. Their play would have been even more effective if, for example, crosses into the box were delivered with low passes instead of high ones, because the excellent goalkeeper Beara stopped most of them."
Quote:
Czechoslovakia vs East Germany 1957
"Add to that the even weaker play of, for example, Molnár and Gajdoš, who unnecessarily held onto the ball, and then we can't be surprised that the GDR team kept a clean sheet."
Quote:
Czechoslovakia vs Wales 1957
"Despite this large number of shooting opportunities, the Czechoslovakian team took the lead in the 21st minute thanks to the visiting midfielder Daniel, who, after a good run by Gajdoš down the right wing, scored an own goal, deflected by our striker."
"In the 21st minute, amidst the enthusiastic cheering crowd, the loudest cry of joy rang out: 'Goal!' Gajdoš broke down the right flank and sent in a perfect cross, which Daniel, the center-back, and Borovička both jumped for simultaneously. Daniel could only reach the ball by deflecting it backwards with his head, ahead of Borovička. However, the Welsh goalkeeper wasn't expecting it: own goal! Nevertheless, after twenty minutes of relentless pressure, this somewhat 'easy' success was well-deserved."
"In particular, Gajdoš drew a roar from the crowd with two shots that grazed the post. Hertl then received applause—twice. First, he cleared a ball for a corner in front of his own goal, and then he threatened Kelsey's goal with a magnificent shot."
